My name is Dennis. We run a mobile knife sharpening and tool sharpening business from Norah Head, NSW. We service the surrounding areas for all household and commercial needs. Our aim is to make you 100% happy with sharp knives and tools. We use the latest Tormak wet stone and leather honing wheel, to give you the best and finest sharpenings.

We are MKS, a mobile service, so we can pick up and drop off or you may come to us if you wish (booking required). Pick up and drop off is free within a 15km radius of our location, a small charge may apply for customer outside the area.

FAQ
Most frequent questions and answers
Pricing starts from $5 for a small pairing knife for example. An average size knife in reasonable condition would likely cost $10. Please send a photo of the item or items to be sharpened so we can quote prior to the job being carried out.
You must be at least 18 years old.
They must be wrapped in a towel or enclosed container.
In most cases we will follow up with you to seek your feedback and satisfaction. However, do not hesitate to call us, we want you to be happy and will discuss options about what can be done.
In general an average knife in reasonable condition takes between 10-20 minutes to sharpen and polish properly.
MKS is a mobile service so most often we come to you, however if you are able to get to Norah Head you can drop knives and other items to us (booking essential)
We charge $15 per appointment, however this can be waived for local customers and when multiple items are sharpened.
Yes we do, multi-purpose scissors and seamstress scissor only. We do not sharpen hairdressers scissors or clippers including pet-clippers.
We accept all payments cash, eftpos, and direct bank deposit (EFT)
